Apologies for the blatant self promotion here in today’s blog but this is just a little nod to my team at Prohibition who have just scooped another major high street brand. I am sure you saw our little announcement this morning in The Drum or on Prolific North.
But in case you didn’t I am delighted to reveal that we have managed to secure the national formal menswear retailer, Suit Direct. The popular fashion brand has more than 15 stores across the UK and sells suits, shirts, jackets, belts, shoes and many other men’s accessories.
We have been appointed to manage and grow its social media and digital presence, with the key aim of boosting online visibility and securing sales through social media. This last year has seen my team grow beyond all recognition with us appointing a new company director, hiring an additional three staff members and having to move to much larger premises in Chapel Allerton.
I love all things retail and I love a challenge and the brief here is to secure sales through social media. If I am honest we have actually been working with the client for a number of months (but we haven’t announced it until today) and already we have quadrupled their sales through social but that’s because of the fine work of my team. I am hoping this is just the beginning and we get to showcase our social media strategy to other top brands because the proof of the pudding is in the eating.
